Jerry H. Hidlebaugh, D.D.S.

Dr. Jerry H. Hidlebaugh was born in Frederick, Oklahoma, where he graduated from High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma in 1961.  He then moved to Waco, Texas where graduated from Baylor University in 1962. His passion to be a dentist sent him to Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas where he graduated in 1966. Dr. Hidlebaugh then went on to practice dentistry as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy from 1966-1968. After, 4 years in the Navy, Dr. Hidlebaugh relocated to Dallas, Texas where he opened a private practice. He enjoyed his time in Dallas for 9 years, but decided he wanted to move his family to Alvarado, Texas. He opened his private practice in Alvarado in 1977, where he is still practicing after 38 years. His philosophy is “You are a friend first, and then a patient”. To this day Dr. Hidlebaugh will always sit down and have a cup of coffee or play a game of checkers with you. He married his wife Georgia in 2003 and they enjoy traveling to the coast together and collecting classic cars.

Perry Marcel, D.D.S.

Dr. Perry Marcel, born and raised in Louisiana, attended Centenary College in Shreveport Louisiana where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. After he attended Baylor, Dr. Marcel completed a one-year post-doctoral residency in Dental Anesthesia and Hospital Dentistry at the Texas A&M Medical School, VA Hospital in Temple, Texas.

During his residency, Dr. Marcel successfully completed cases of hospital based anesthesia in the areas of dentistry, surgery, and compromised dental/medical health problem patients. Dr. Marcel received specialized training to provide all levels 1, 2, 3 of anesthesia services to ambulatory patients, special needs patients, pediatric patients, phobic patients, and geriatric patients for office-based anesthesia in a safe environment.

In addition, Dr. Marcel is an Assistant Clinical Professor with Dr. David Canfield at the Anesthesia Education and Safety Foundation, providing Texas dentist with continuing education in ACLS, PALS, BLS, Airway management, ECG/Pharmacology. Dr. Marcel aims to minimize patients’ dental fears and ensure that anxious children and adults feel more comfortable during their dental care.

Dr. Marcel, also provides lectures and continuing education courses on ACLS, PALS, BLS, Airway Management, ECG/Pharmacology, and medical emergencies in the dental office, with Onsite Rescue Training Company where he holds instructor certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). He is a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Marcel resides in Fort Worth, Texas. He is Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserve Providing great service to our military soldiers.
